So you submitted an application on March, got AOR within a month and then after 2 months, you started requesting Notes (3 so far). Do you know whats the official processing time for the nonEE application is? or you just acting oblivious about that thing just to freak out each month? If you cannot handle yourself, then I suggest you apply for the Express stream.
The reason I’m freaking out is because my current PGWP is about to be over. With my eligibility not passed, Am I Eligible for BOWP? The eligibility for BOWP said Non-EE PNP requires not only AOR, but “Eligibility” in GCMS marked Passed. Besides, I don’t have employment restrictions on my nomination letters so I wouldn’t ask my employer to do a LMIA and support me to applying for closed WP.
All in all, you seems very professional about this. Could you please tell me if my Eligibility is not marked as Passed, Can I still submit a BOWP application?
To be fair, I don’t give it a sh*t if they just pass my eligibility. After that they can take years to finalize my PR, I don’t care. I just don’t want my PGWP over and I have to stop working.

I applied for BOWP on March 2023 after I got AOR on Jan 2023. Eligibility not started, Security not started, no PAL from Jan 2023 until now. But my BOWP was approved on August 01st 2023. I think you can after you get AOR.

Did you get PAL?
Just received PAL today. Called IRCC to check if I had any pending correspondence, after a 3-4 min hold, she said that my application has been approved and the IO will send the portal as soon as he/she gets back to my application. I checked my AST and found that a CoPR number has been generated and shown. My Back ground verification was completed 1 month after my last ADR, which was yesterday. I am really happy and hope that we get the PR Portal soon.

You only need AOR for applying for BOWP . Your eligibility and other requirements doesn’t have anything for applying of BOWP . Also if you are PNP nominated double check if your nomination certificate has any restrictions on it . Otherwise you only have to attach copy of AOR for applying work permit.

Hi! Thanks for the info. I checked there is no restriction on my nomination letter. Can’t believe what IRCC put on their website is so messed up. I read their descriptions of BOWP eligibility over and over again which increased my panic!

I only have 1-year PGWP since October 2022 when I graduated. Everything is very packed. Thank god I got a job right after my graduation so that now I’m here. Wouldn’t be able to do this without good luck and people’s help!

You are eligible for BOWP anytime. Just apply few months in advance before your current work permit expires. AOR is most important document for that. Best of luck.

Thanks again! And one last thing I'd like to ask is, my AOR is actually an email not a letter, so I suppose I should export the AOR email, which has my EP file number and confirmed IRCC received my application, as a PDF and upload to Client Information. Is it correct?

Yes it’s actual email you got . It says do not reply. It just your application was received by IRCC and by this date and got your file number in it . Just download it or print and scan and then upload it .

Well, IRCC is not clear when they say: your application must be approved in principle to apply for bowp. In your case, you can judge your application for yourself, based on the information you submitted and decide if your application is complete and truthful, rest is just a matter of time. The other thing that helps is AOR, because its only issued after an agent has gone through an initial completeness check. So if you got one, then that means your information is sufficient and could be approved after a detailed review, or thats how I interpret it. Extending to that logic, you could say your application is approved in principle pending detailed review, and you can apply to BOWP with AOR as a proof of completeness. Besides, you do not have any other options too. Also, would you please try being more clearer on your situation next time; instead of starting with "Guys I am freaking out again.."; try: "My work permit is expiring and I am freaking out..". Trust me that would serve you a lot better in not freaking out. Good Luck.

I agree. A lot of times, members tend to forget that other members here are total strangers who do not have access to their application history. It’s like going to the doctor and just telling you are sick without giving full disclosure of one’s symptoms. Or giving general symptoms like “I have a cough”.
