I am a bit confused now...

I just received a letter that seems like AIP.

"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence
as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final
decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident
have been met..." (3 pages total info)

However, pre-arrival was in March and I could apply for RAMQ with pre-arrival in hand (not the letter I just received).

Do you have open work permit approved when you apply RAMQ?

Did you already receive your open work permit? I just submit my open work permit application last week. right now i do not have the open work permit yet. I think you can apply RAMQ card because you already have the open work permit if i understand correct
Yes, that is why I was waiting with the application for RAMQ till the work permit I had in hand.

But still, you can apply for RAMQ after AIP :)

Yes, but it is not necessary in our case. Enough is to have AIP. If you call them you will know everything. Waiting time is super short in comparison to immigration and I had a really helpful guy during call

They were really helpful and thank you for clearing everything up. @james the lady on the phone just said I need to reply to the form send in the mail and send in AIP (all pages) and CSQ (all pages) as well as SIN (only if you have one, I don't).

I tried to make a call, but I did not find any option to talk with an agent. The phone is always been hung up. I will try tomorrow again.

Do you have any updates after receiving AIP? Or do you have any ideas that how long it usually takes to receive COPR after AIP?

To be honest... I was following you all the time .:)
I asked my layer after I received AIP. She told that it can be between 1-3 months. However, the IRCC website shows still 25 months.
Now we have to trust the process. I will keep you updated, but usually we both have IRCC emails on the same day.

My husband and I received the sponsor approval today (SA). It really doesn't hold much value and I don't want to get my hopes up too much about it as the background check still says in progress.

I did request notes on the application last week maybe this might have something to do with that.
