Dear members, I am still waiting for MR. Is it advisable to do upfront medical and submit through webform? Since the medicals are valid for 1 year, if I conduct medicals now, it will be valid till August 24. It will be within the IRCC processing times (17 months from AR). Could the senior members please advise. Thanking you.
Anyone has an idea ?

Hi, guys! I have a question! Does the portal 1 email should come on my email or on email of my representative?

Hi Guys,

My timeline is in my signature. Despite receiving PAL, last week I received ADR for my CV and Military documents. My status in GCkey account still shows "Your documents have been uploaded". Does that mean that my application has been sent to Security Screening? When is the best time to order GCMS notes?

That simply means your documents have been sent to IRCC. You will see status online once they start reviewing it . You can order GCMS anytime. There is no specific time to order.

Medical validity is extended to 5 years for a limited time, I used my medical a month ago which was performed in 2019. If you have your old medical from your student visa or any other file under 5 years old you can submit it without any issues. You can find more information below link:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html
Thanking you for your response. I am an outland applicant. The medical validity of 5 years does not apply in my case. Is it advisable to conduct an upfront medical??

Hi All, My employer has submitted my work permit extension last week and today I could see that my email address on permanent residence application tracker has been updated to the email address of my employer immigration consultant who submitted my extension request. Can someone please let me know if it will have any impact on my future correspondence related to PR. Thanks in advance…
I had a similar issue regarding the email being change to my representative's but when I called to check, they said, "they have primary email set as mine and secondary as representative's." The one that is displayed could be primary or secondary. No need to worry unless you've called and changed the email intentionally.
Also, my AST was glitching, showing some random addresses which were neither mine nor my representative's. It got fixed after a couple days on its own.

I have heard mostly positive reviews and opinions about submitting it upfront but my representative doesn't recommend submitting it upfront as it may cause unnecessary delay. In my opinion, I have seen many members submitting it upfront and getting the MP within 30 days.

Hi everyone!
Today is my 1 year anniversary from AR with no any results... I called them, ordered GCMS notes, and everything shows that nobody has opened my file since AOR in February, when BIO and Med. completed and case was forwarded to the secondary office in Ottawa... any requests, any updates.... We are inland applicants...
I lost all hope.... I wish everyone to get their PR as soon as possible... but it looks unfair when some cases are completed in a few months, while some ones are waiting for years with no reason... sorry
I had a similar situation after reading my GCMS notes, which showed that my file was last updated in Jan 2023 (when BIO were requested). It disheartened me as well. But now, I have mustered up enough patience to wait until the full 18 months of their processing time. I hope you get the next update/DM soon. My first AR anniversary was last month.

Hello everyone!
I called IRCC agent on the 20th June and he confirmed all stages have been passed except security which was still in progress
Checking my tracker recently, I noticed it indicates: updated 21st of July. What does this mean, does it mean my application has progressed? It's been 2 weeks now, I haven't heard anything
Should I expect good news soon?
My AR date is 31st March 2022, AOR Nov. 2nd 2022
Please help a sister
Does anyone have another opinion on this? Please I will appreciate your thoughts
