PR confirmation portal timelines

Everyone who gets their second portal email with the credentials, when you go take the photo for your PR card, do not take the photo with your phone; do not upload a photo from your phone or let anyone else take it for you. Go directly to London Drugs if you’re in Canada and tell them you need a picture for a permanent residence card. They are professionals, and they already know. Otherwise, if you don't do it that way, your photo is more likely to be returned.

Same for me but it’s totally normal. The IRCC officer will fix it for us so nothing to worry about.

Finally got my Portal 2 email now.

July 12 - Portal 1, replied to the email on the same day
July 29 - Portal 2, confirmed our address and submitted photo. (Triggers some warning that photo didn't meet requirements because of pixel size even though the shot and file came from London Drugs.)
Waiting for eCoPR...

July 12 - Portal 1, replied to the email on the same day
July 29 - Portal 2, confirmed our address and submitted photo. (Triggers some warning that photo didn't meet requirements because of pixel size even though the shot and file came from London Drugs.)

Yours was really quick. I hope we get ours quickly too. My wife and kid are International Students so I pay for their monthly MSP here in BC. It will generate another bill on Friday, so hoping to get it before then.

Did you ever reply the 2nd time on portal 1? Or just submitted it once? Also, around what time did you submitted your reply for Portal 1?

I did, last July 25th. I also sent a separate email concern last July 23th and got a reply last July 27th that they need details even though it's on the attachment. I also tried to call twice, last July 21st and July 27th.

But all things considered. None of these really helped. I am in the impression that it just got process because they are already catching up on the backlog.

Based on other members here and from my experience, yes, some of them also got theirs on weekend. So, they are also processing on weekends. I am just glad that things are moving. I hope the others get theirs soon.
