Hello everyone,

We received an email from IOM asking to attend an interview in islamabad. They also asked our location and contact number. This is the first email we received. Can someone please share their similar experience? Would this be an interview with Canadian immigration officers or IOM? would there be any further interviews? What type of info they need during this interview? Thank you so much

Are you being sponsored by family or friends in Canada or another organization? Have they already been selected as a private sponsor to sponsor you in Canada? Do you have a number that starts with G already?

Yes, there is an organization who submitted Private sponsership for us, and their selection process has already completed. We received an email that has G and UCI number and it says file has been transferred to the concerned embasy. This is the first email we got from IOM for an interview, wondering if someone had a similar experience??

This should be an interview with Canadian representatives as well in order to confirm that you are good candidates for private sponsorship and To confirm any details when it comes to your application. If there are no concerns after your interview your application gets closer to approval.
