Does you letter had names of both principal applicant and dependent applicant?

No, it only had principal applicant name . But this same letter applies for principal applicant and dependent.
I uploaded same letter for both applicants to get their passport pick up and drop service.
No issues observed in whole process.

What troubled me is CIC asked to submit passports of all applicants in same package, but VFS asks you to make two packages one for each applicant.
Clear contradiction . But fortunately it didn't cause any issue .

In my case Feb 8th we got pre-arrival and Feb 15th PPR/Passport request.

But in earlier cases on this forum, I saw some gap b/w two.

Hello All, if medicals expire before receiving passport request, do they notify us to upload new medical results? And do they give us a timeframe or we need to do it proactively and upload in our profile in documents section?

Normally both come within a week...in my case , Passport request came first and pre-arrival letter came next day...Hope you get the passport request soon.

Friendly Advice. Please avoid giving suggestions before proper research.

You do not need to prove anything. IRCC clearly says to INFORM them about any change in circumstances IMMEDIATELY.
Currently its taking around 5 - 6 months to get a Birth certificates.

I posted what i did and my rep. Said too not proving anyone here the form is all about what we had experienced or did it. It always next person choice what they wanted to do ?? And its only took me 35 days to get birth certificate not 5-6 mnths

So i was posting friendly update to help ofcourse!!

No Prearrival - Are the primary applicant and dependents in Canada? Did you receive any acknowledgement after Oct 10th that the document received or provided or added to a file?

Thanks…my parents are in india. I didn’t receive any acknowledgement but I left a webform last Monday to enquire to reason of dela. They replied back on Thursday and assured me that they are processing my file as quickly as they can. So this Monday I received PPR but GC account does not have any changes. I don’t know if it’s coincidence or they reacted to webform.

This is good because IRCC usually ignores the web forms if the application is in regular processing times. Good for you!

I went on VFS website and booked the passport submission. I received one email appointment confirmation for each application. The email specifies that the name on the letter should match the name on email confirmation.
Now my mother's name is not present on the CIC letter. I called the VFS agent in India. The agent told me that the letter should have both the applicant names or else they cannot accept the passport. May be the agent was not completely aware of the situation.
Should go ahead and submit the passport at VFS and see what they have to say?

Yes, don't worry go ahead and submit passports taking two prints of same letter (one for each passport).

I haven't heard of anyone receiving separate letters for principal and dependent.
We need to remember that principal applicant is applying for both principal and dependent.
And letter clearly says to submit passports for both principal and accompanying family member against this letter.
