Hello!

I received by eCOPR on Feb 5th but did not receive by PR card yet (current processing time is 36 days). I understand that times vary and actual mail delivery adds to this. But I'm wondering if at least there is a way to know that the card was sent already?
Link your pr card applicatin to your GC key account.

Thanks for this infromation. We are expecting to initialate the CSQ procedure. (My wife got VJO for a job outside Montreal). She works in NOC TEER 5.

I was wondering if she will need to submit a language test at Federal level so she can prepare for one in advance.
My wife submitted a language test to get the CSQ, but I don't remember having to provide one at the federal level (PR process after the CSQ).

Do you guys know the mean processing time for QSW after CSQ?
I have doubts between trying the EE pathway or the Arrima.

Thanks in advance
you can use the desktop chrome to check the users' signatures. Usually, many people like me put their timelines in signatures, but on mobile, this forum does not display it. For me, after CSQ, it takes 1 year and 11 months to receive the PR card.

Thanks. And how about CSQ with VJO? I have a valid IELTS but my wife(main applicant for CSQ) does not have any language test. I am worrying a little mainly because my wife used to be a housewife but now has become main applicant for CSQ after getting her VJO and she has no previous experience with IELTS. This is her first job.

Since ee have not mentioned any language in her Aarima profile so MIFI has reveiwed her profile. I believe receiving an invitation despite that means her application is accepted without the langauge requirements. And despite a VJO, if she does not receive the invitation would mainly be because of this missing language also.

I'm not sure about it, we applied through PEQ, already in Quebec, I'm studying and my wife was working. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with your process, but I hope someone here will be able to help you with your questions. But in any case I don't think it would hurt to prepare for a language test if she has the resources ( at least some spare time). Best of luck!

Hi,
I submitted PR application (inland), with the CSQ I got through AI pilot program for all my family member.
Here is my Timeline:
Submitted application: 29 Jan 2023
Request for Schedule A: 30 Jan 2023
Pre-arrival letter : Feb 7 2023
Passed the medical exam : 9 Feb 2023

Seems pretty fast! But no more update since then :(
(is the any body with similar timeline in this forum?)
My question is that how long does it take (usually) to get our PR confirmation after Pre-arrival letter or Medical exam pass?

Where did you see this information about language tests being requested for specific NOCs?
Hi , you can see it in IMM 5690e Checklist Form page 3 section 12 :

Proof of Language Proficiency
Since July 1, 2012, most applicants to Provincial/Territorial Nominee classes in semi or low-skilled professions that fall under National Occupation Classification (NOC) TEER 4 and 5 are required to complete a language
proficiency test from one of the following designated agencies:

• EL TS (General Training test only),
• CELPIP (General test only), and/or
• TEF.

You must include a copy of your language test results with Y-Our •. application to IRCC.

Right! Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying! I had missed reading the "NOC TEER 4 and 5" part.

I (finally!) submitted my application for federal this past weekend. A couple of questions--

Looking through some of the timelines that people have posted here, it seems like sometimes people send their police certificates after they submitted their applications. I submitted mine with my application. I hope that's not an issue? (I mean, I can request another one, and I'm a pretty law-abiding citizen, I've never even had a parking ticket, so that's not a problem either, it's just a bit of a hassle to get...) Did anyone else submit their police certificates with their applications?

Also, I see on some people's timelines something called "AOR" (Acknowledgement of Receipt?). I received an email a few days ago that said (among other pretty basic things): "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2023..." Is that an AOR? Seems like it came pretty quickly, since I just submitted the application over the weekend. Or is the AOR something else?

It's not an issue at all. If the processing of your application ends up taking a lot of time, IRCC might ask you for new certificates. As you said that getting these take time and effort, some people prefer (and some immigration lawyers recommend) not submitting them with the application but rather when IRCC asks for them. But, I think, most of the applicants submit them with the application like you.

Does that email also contain an application number right at the start of the email and/or in the subject line and/or an attached pdf, usually along with your UCI? If yes, you're one of the lucky ones who got their AOR pretty fast!

Wow congrats! I believe that’s your AOR! That was super fast. I just saw the timeline on your signature, it seems that you received your CSQ really fast too. You’re really a lucky person haha
I hope I can receive my AOR soon. I applied a few days before you, on March 7th.

Hey thanks! I'll take my good luck where I can get it. When I applied for the renewal for my temporary work permit, it took over 7 months (was supposed to be less than 5...).
