Me and my spouse both had our photos rejected yesterday for being "profile pictures". Confused by this, and they are definitely not profile picture and they fit all the guidelines lol. We have had new ones taken, reviewed and reuploaded. Any ideas on how long it takes for the IRCC to review new pictures?
Is it another long wait?

Just want to confirm that in PR portal account we get only inland applicant's name, not outland dependents, right??

Please confirm!!!

that’s right. Portal will only have inland applicant as it is meant for virtually landing the inland applicant. The Outland applicant will have an in person landing process at the airport of landing.

Hi All,

I received the PR approval letter via email yesterday. I'm still in Canada but have booked a flight to travel to India next week. I'll be coming back in the first week of April 2023. Can anyone please tell me how long can we wait before replying to that email and creating an account on the PR portal? Also, will my TRV become invalid once I receive my COPR if I am in Canada?

Once eCOPR is received, TRV is no longer valid. I would suggest holding off on the PR portal until you’ve returned from India.

If you don’t, and the eCOPR is issued while you’re there, you won’t be able to reenter to Canada without the PR card (which is taking well over a month to receive, dependent on VO). You could apply for a permanent resident travel document once in India, but I’ve read somewhere in the forum it could take up to 6 weeks to receive.

Thanks a lot for clarifying my doubts. This is really helpful. Do you know if there is a time window within which one needs to reply to that email or can that be done at any time of my choosing? I'm just worried whether there would be an issue if I don't respond to that email for a month.

Hopefully someone else can confirm, or you can search in the forum, but my recollection from forum discussion is that someone had replied to the email advising they were traveling and would be back in country on (date). They would reply with the relevant information once they’re back in the country. Information is applicable to the eCOPR as they need your last entry date and where you entered for the document, this will obviously change with your upcoming trip, they’ll want the correct info.

Hey I believe you did not receive ecopr, you got the email of approval and they asked for details of current status in country and stuff.
In this case tell them you are in india and want to hold your file for a time until you come back ( OR ask them about what u should do), and they will accept your request and will ask you to send boarding pass or entry stamp when you arrived in april and email them, then they will start ur process.

**This is just based on my experience, as I was in the same situation but you should confirm with others.

There is no time frame to reply IRCC for PR approval mail that's what IRCC agent told me as I was in similar situation.
You can reply next week once you reach India saying you are outside the country and give them the date of your return.
This way they will wait for you, your TRV remains valid and provide you next steps(PR portal credentials) once you are back in Canada.

Hey everyone, I received the PR portal email, replied the same day, and one week later I received the same email again from IRCC (instead of the credentials), has it happened to anyone else before? I am wondering if they are receiving my replies.
