       The application was submitted on Jan 11, 2023. What does this status mean?

Not yet it's still the same "Printed" since February 17, 2023.

Thanks again for your reply. For my dependents they received PV email after 25 days ( incl holidays) after reviewing started in CGI. In India their PV happened, later they new got passports. Their previous passports issued in India.

For me, my previous passport issued in New York. Now almost 27 days happened in CGI with same status of review.
Still we may or may not get PV. Please don’t assume we will not get PV email. It’s depends. Thanks

For me:
Status Changed to Application and fees received at Consulate-16th Jan
status changed to Passport application is being reviewed by embassy/consulate-23rd Jan’23. Same now.

Any update? I got a reply from CGI Toronto on Sampark. They said I should assume total 8 weeks for passport renewal

Hmm ok. Yes as per their processing times mentioned in website it’s 8 weeks. No further updates from my end.

PV is not happened in my case as for my previous passport address is in India and same address is used for my new passport.

Oh okay. Check your BLS status, they may already mailed ur passport or soon. ‘Passport printed’ is last status you see in portal. I heard if PV should happen it will start within 3 weeks of processing start. For me now more than 4 weeks happened and status map you have placed, for PV section exactly same for me as well. Hopefully without PV I will get. Next week maybe

My previous passport was issued from India. I have understood that if PV is required, we will receive an intimation on email which I have not received even after so many days of submission. This means, no PV is required in my case. My timelines are as follows
Application submitted at BLS Brampton: 21st Jan
Status Changed to Application and fees received at Consulate-23rd Jan
status changed to Passport application is being reviewed by embassy/consulate-1st Feb

No update after this. No email received for police verification.
