Grounds: Establishment and hardship.
No Children. I was a student, lost status and applied PR on H&C grounds as I had no other way to apply for Pr.

Hello, I received the call again from senior officer. My file is approved.
The officer was very nice and kind. She said she finalized last night my application and was waiting for the right time to call me this morning because of different time zones.

Yes, I have to send medicals first. She said your security/criminality is passed as I provided Police certificates along with my application before.
Only medicals, financial statement and employment letter is requested again. I hope next stage will be done soon as well.
She advised about second stage that it’s taking some time more because of the Quebec immigration issue.

Police certificate from Canada is not needed. You only submit PCCs from foreign countries where you resided. In very rare cases, IRCC will request Canadian criminality check (fingerprints) from you. You have to wait until they do so to avoid wasting time unnecessarily.


Police certificate and IRCC requirements
You don’t need to provide a police certificate when you apply for permanent residence in Canada. We’ll tell you if you need a Canadian criminal record check while your application is being processed.
