Yeah we completed the portal 6 weeks ago and still waiting for ecopr. Seems to be a lot of movement for outland people getting ppr requests but inland seems to be stuck at the portal/copr stage. Did the agent pretty much say you have your PR? Ours had said decision made for over a month now.
Stuck at portal/copr +1
It's been a month..

Many of us inlanders are actually waiting for the "portal invite"—the one that tells your PR application has been approved and asks you to reply with personal information. You are already a step ahead of us!

To be fair, in the past few months, inland applications moved much faster than outland in general (e.g. AOR in days for inlanders vs months for outlanders). Though not ideal, I try to be patient lol

Add me to the queue of people waiting. I was told over the phone yesterday that I am in holding pattern for the virtual landing, and today I see in the PR tracker COPR expiry date and document number. Waiting on the portal invite like a lot of you.

What do you mean you are in "holding pattern"? Did the IRCC explain what that means?

The holding pattern is the queue. Apparently, there are a lot of people waiting to virtually land and they said it is a two step process. First is the confirmation of PA details (ie that they are in Canada, etc) and the second part is the portal and eCOPR issue. A lot of people are stuck at the first and second part.

Well I guess like with everything else with IRCC, the only option is to wait.

Oh wow, that's good to know it's just a matter of waiting out the queue. I guess that's the reason for the delay then. Just to confirm, you got this information in a call with an IRCC agent, right?

Does the COPR expiry match with the passport? Mine has the same expiry date.

I am guessing its safe to assume you are approved and all is good if your copr number shows up on the tracker

I would say yes, however if I did something stupid like not complete the portal, upload photos, stuff like that you can still be declined. I got clarity from the agent on the phone on the final steps. So once you have COPR in the portal and they say you are approved. Then you have the following if you are inland:

1. You are entered into a queue for virtual landing.
2. You get an email or in some cases a phone call to confirm that the PA is in Canada and some basic demographic information such as address, phone.
3. The agent changes an entry in the system to trigger the portal invite.
4. The application has a final review by an officer.
4. You receive the login info for the portal.
5. You upload photos and get eCOPR document.
6. Once portal is done, IRCC changes your application status to closed.
7. You receive your PR Card roughly 30 days later.

HOLY COW! Thank you so much for this. It's so helpful to know what's going on in the backend and where we are in terms of steps.
