Nope, it still says "In process", however, the tracker shows eligibility completed & back groud verification "not started".
Hi folks, just thought I'd spread a little hope: I know someone who applied for his wife to come here from Pakistan. Citizen and applied in December 2021. His wife got the pre-arrival letter last Wednesday and then in less than 24 hrs they received the passport request.
We also received our pre-arrival letter on Friday. NOTHING else has been updated--the PR tracker doesn't even show any ghost update, even though it says that the last update to our app was Nov 3rd but we got the pre-arrival letter on Nov 11th. So if you haven't gotten any ghost updates in a while, that may well be a good thing and a sign that a big update is coming.
I'm hoping that we also receive the passport request today since we've seen the time between pre arrival letter and ppr so short with some of the last few apps from Pakistan. My app was also very similar to the guy I know who got the ppr in less than 24 hrs after pre arrival letter...Anyway, I know getting the ppr can still take up to 2 months from now, but hey, a person can hope.

Just to share, my wife got pre arrival on Oct 28 i.e. 15 days ago and since then no update whatsoever. Lets hope for the early PPR.

That's great news n gives some hope .. though I'm May 2021 application and now that proessessing timings has now gone down to 20 month.
I have a decision made and still waiting on either something in writing or an email nothing on both fronts so hoping it will come sooner than later.
Have you received acknowledgement of your ADR either by email or letter through GCkey? I think it depends on the type of ADR. If it has to do with an expired document, it must have been examined recently. It takes some time to study a document like a CV or résumé, supplementary images, etc.
And how quickly did you meet the deadline by sending the document? Did you receive a 30 or 60 day deadline for sending ADR?
As soon as IRCC has examined and approved your document, you will be informed via your PR Portal or Gckey account.

Thanks, I applied in first week of Jan 2022 and the other guy I know applied in last week of December 2021. I also got my passport request on Tuesday, Alhamdolillah
Hi everyone, got the ppr yesterday, Nov 15th (see my timeline in my signature), thank God. Finally. It's been a long journey. Hope this spreads some hope and sincerely wishing that everyone else is reunited with their spouses very soon.
I also have 2 questions:
1.) How long should I expect it to take to get the passport stamped with the visa and returned? We plan to have it picked up in person. Anyone have any experience or idea of how long it takes with the Lahore Visa Application Centre?
2.) When should I book tickets? It looks like even just one-way tickets from Pak to Canada are insanely expensive for most of this month and December, and if I wait the full 4 weeks for the passport to come back, then won't it just be more expensive to book a ticket closer to the actual date? Should I book tickets 4 weeks from now to avoid price hikes in already expensive tickets, or just wait?
EDIT: Also, I have noticed that there are some people who got their pre-arrival letter and they have waited for longer than a week to receive the PPR--maybe try checking any other email you used in your application? Because I got the ppr request in different email from the one in which I usually received updates. In fact, my ppr request letter ONLY showed up in that email, it still hasn't even updated in Gc key yet.
So if you are waiting for that PPR and you have already received the pre-arrival letter, make sure you also check any other emails you had also included in your application to contact you, or your representative, or your spouse! Because the request could only be showing up in one email right now, and you actually have 30 days from the receipt of that email to submit the passport.

Hi, sorry to hear that it's taken longer for you, that must be annoying. Have you tried looking in any other email you included in your application? I just got our ppr yesterday in an email I never got any updates in, but had included in my application as one of the contact emails. The request ONLY showed up there--GC key account and PR tracker do not show that I received the ppr.

I looked at my only other email address and also told my mrs to keep a check on hers too so far nothing.. not so much annoyed as much as being anxious and stressed that you say decision made but then wht is the decision who knows .. I just hope it's good news. I am even in daily contact with my Immigration consultant who are my representative and they said nothing on their end yet they will email the London visa office .. I tried calling Immigration canada on the telephone number provided only once had I gotten through and even they said nothing they can do. Nothing in the email or by courier so just a waiting game unfortunately.
Always keeping a look out on emails now more so .. fingers crossed.

Hello, First of all congratulation to you, happy to hear that. I also applied in 2nd week of Jan 2022 but after medical in August 2022 there isn't any further update so far. In my opinion you are lucky to have your app done in less than a year. Cheers to you and your spouse.
