Study permit extension

I recently applied for a study permit extension and got approval.
I’m now thinking about the TRV. It is also going to expire in a month. Need I also apply for its extension? I’m also planning to get a US visitor visa later.

Yes you should apply for a new TRV given that yours is about to expire.
