Applied from India for a 2 year old child's visit visa (She has a US visa but no travel history).

This is my attempt via new portal as I never received an update from IRCC after I processed her application via GC key portal on March 15th 2021 but then she did not have USA visitor visa.

Timeline:-
Applied: August 3, 2022
No Biometrics required

I have a Canada WP, my wife and the older child have visitor visa to Canada.

there are no update since.
Also applied from Germany in June. Still no response. Went to the Embassy in Vienna and got no help. Out of 5 Emails and Webforms, I got one response. I dont want to be pessimistic but I suggest you look for sth else, or just wait if you can more than 3 months.

I've already made another plan, but I hope I don't get banned for 5 years because of canceling the Flight ticket and Hotel booking.

The impose a ban if you cancel bookings?? This is so strange.
Isn't that considered a misrepresentation because the booking is no longer valid.
is uploading an invalid document a misrepresentation?

It’s a serious crime to lie, or to send false information or documents to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This is fraud. It’s called “misrepresentation.”
Document fraud can involve either false or altered documents, such as:
  • passports and travel documents
  • visas
  • diplomas, degrees, and apprenticeship or trade papers
  • certificates of birth, marriage, final divorce, annulment, separation, or death and
  • police certificates
If you lie on an application or in an interview with an IRCC officer, this is also fraud. It’s a crime.
If you send false documents or information, we’ll refuse your application. We may also:
  • forbid you from entering Canada for at least 5 years
  • give you a permanent record of fraud with us
  • take away your status as a permanent resident or Canadian citizen
  • have you charged with a crime or
  • remove you from Canada

Do you think it makes sense withdraw the application put in from India and put in a fresh application from the USA to beat the wait time?
