If the CoPR Document expiry date is on 22nd Dec'22 then parents can travel in November....right? and do we have to do anything else before the expiry date?

Expiry date is ususally when you pass the medical. My in-laws medical was completed and passed on 22nd Dec'21 so their CoPR expiry date is on 22nd Dec'22. My parents completed their medical on 10th Mar'22 and they got their CopR expiry date on 10th Mar'23.

yes totally fine, we got like a day before lol. IOM is IRCC approved panel so as long as they upload the case to IRCC (even after the 30 day) but it shows that the Medical was done in that window then you are good. IRCC is not too hard on that.
Thank you @mubashirathar56 for prompt reply. It means in 30 days we have to submit test at IOM, when it reaches ircc is not our responsibility. By the way did you got your copy of results from IOM. I read some where that they give us on request. Did you submit covid-19 vaccination certificates, and if i recall they dont need photos they take one at registration. How is staff, at last visit they were courteous and thoroughly professional. Sorry many questions. Many thanks

I just received an email after 8-10 days that you have passed the medicals and we have submitted that to IRCC. Yes, need to take original Covid certificate and the photos will be taken there digitally. the staff were nice as I was told

Hi guys, I am hoping someone can answer a few questions for me as my parent's application has been processing since June 2019 and finally there has been some movement but i am bit confused. hoping you can provide detailed answers.

To provide some background/context:
- Applied for PR for both my parents
- IRCC requested a police certificate from India for my dad back in October of 2021
- In the letter it asked me to send this info to Delhi immigration's email address
- I sent the email that contained police certificate for both my parents
- Got confirmation that document was received (via automatic reply from Delhi immigration mailbox) however the myCIC account was never updated saying document was submitted. In "View submitted application or upload documents" area, it still showed that police certificate was required.
- No communication after that from IRCC
- Followed up via web form a few times and they said documents were received and immigration officer will contact you if they need something
- Finally today got a notification via email saying "We got your document. thank you". However when I logged in to the myCIC account, its asking for the same police certificate again. It shows "replacement needed"
- Its asking us to provide Indian police certificate for primary applicant (father)

A few questions:
1. has anyone encountered this conflicting message? ie. email notification says document was received but myCIC account says you need to submit document? not sure which one to follow.
2. if they only ask for Principle applicant's police certificate (father), do I need to also submit the same for dependent applicant (mother)?
3. what is the validity of police certificate? online it says 6 months but I've seen other numbers as well so just want to confirm.
4. While uploading the document from "Documents submitted by the client" area of myCIC account, using "upload file" function, It asks for document name/number, issue date/expiry date etc. i tried entering the actual police certificate serial number as document number but the form doesn't seem to like it. also, I don't know what to put for expiry date as the certificate doesn't have one.

please help. thank you in advance.

Hi just my opinion others will also reply.
1. Email content seems error. It should say, view your GcKey profile, message waiting for you.
2. Upload pcc of principal applicant only when they asked expressly.
3. If it does not accept number of pcc write name pcc Mr XYZ as instructions say.
4. Write an email to your VO that refer to letter dated xxxx. A pcc has been uploaded in account for principal applicant as requested in your letter ref# dated

Thank you very much for detailed response. have a few follow up questions as well.
I think what might have happened was that i had sent PCC in 2 emails. One of the PCCs (For India) was submitted after the deadline but I had advised them in the first email that we are waiting for the Indian PCC and had provided proof. They might have just looked at the first email but didn't look at the second email. the PCC was for a timeframe when my father was studying in India (in the 80s). I still have the PCC that Indian embassy provided in December of 2021. Can i just resubmit that or do i need to get a new certificate as the old one was issued just over 6 months ago? Technically, if he was cleared for the 80's that fact doesn't change with the new PCC but i keep on reading about PCC having to be issued within the last 6 months so want to be sure.

also, is it possible to talk to or email VO directly? if so, how? I always get email notifications from generic mailbox (do not reply address) so I don't know how to reach them directly. thank you.

You can contact them via webform or google search "contact information for IRCC office in XYZ" you should be able to get an email address to that office, after navigating through some pages/links.

Where XYZ is the office location.

Hi guys,

need some suggestions on my case. I received email last week for my parents from the IRCC portal that the application has been approved and they asked to reply to the email confirming the presence. I replied but it's been a week and no link for portal account yet.

Now, the issue is that only my father is here in Canada and mother resides in Pakistan because she never had a visitor visa. When my father (principal applicant) arrived in Canada earlier in January I updated IRCC that only he has landedbut they have sent the IRCC portal email for both applicant and dependant. Any idea what to do in this case?
