Hi Guys,

Me and my wife received our COPR with an expiration of end of August, 2021. However we couldn't travel due to the COVID travel restrictions in place and we had our baby in last week of July 2021. Since my list of dependents has changed with our newborn after the issuance of COPR, I reached out to IRCC via webform in first week of August to notify about the change in family composition and to have my newborn added to the list of dependents and requesting for new CoPR since I couldn't travel with the existing COPR. I reached out to them a couple of times via webform prior to the expiry of my CoPR and a few times after as well but haven't received any reply except for the generic one. I have included the birth certificate of my newborn as well when I sent out those queries.
This is for ExpressEntry and I reside in USA. Not sure if there is a better way to reach out to IRCC from USA besides webforms /? Any help would be much appreciated

I got a mail to submit my and my family's passport within 30 days for getting the VISA stamped after years of wait. But my family is currently in India and will not be back to US before end of July. I have submitted coule of webforms explaining my situation but no response. What is the best solution in this scenario - should I go ahead and submit my passport only ? How long is Ottawa taking in stamping and returning the passport now a days ?

Hi Everyone, my COPR expired around August 2020 and I could not travel before that due to the pandemic. Last year, I sent the Ready for travel email but never heard back from them. This year around March I sent a web form asking for the status of my application and they emailed me back stating that they check my info and confined that it's still under process. Are any of you in the same boat as I am?
Did you get any update ? I have the same situation

I'm also in the same situation. Got a mail December 2020 if i was willing to leave within 60 days.. i couldn't and have heard nothing whatsoever since. The only small bit of information i retrieved was from an agent on the phone back a few months ago saying that the last update was October 2021 indicating a medical extension was currently being looked into.

Hi guys,

I received my CoPR in decision envelop on 3rd June, with the visa and prior to that I had received a message in my account stating "Application Approved". Until later tonight where I get a message that essentially read "CoPR documents issued for your file have been cancelled". I have not been given any reason for this.

Rest of the letter read
"Your file will be reviewed and if further documents are required, they will be requested.
You will be advised when a new Confirmation of Permanent Residence document is issued if your
application is successful. Further instructions will be forthcoming at that time."

Although a bit disheartening to see the process come to such a halt, I would really like to know what has happened here and what are my options.
It had to happen on the day I was relieved from my job here and I was planning to fly in exactly a month's time. Seems like that isn't happening anytime soon.

Any input is appreciated.

Absolutely disheartening to read this. I am sorry. Do you have email id of your VO ? I would suggest you directly reach out to them and understand what has caused this issue.

No I don't have that. At best what I know is my visa and decision email came through CIO BCRD. I have been up most of the night looking at things, what is my best bet at getting an answer? A webform or a gcms atip request?

Both are your options, but time consuming and hence my preferred suggestion was to directly contact your VO. You can seek more expert advice. I wish you luck, hope your agony ends soon.

Thanks, you are a great help. I'm fine, its not that agonising really, I just see it as a problem I need to get solved and find answers of. If it doesn't work out, all the well.
A follow up question though, I was filling a web form, and since I applied for PR from outside of Canada, what would be appropriate response to this "Is your application being processed by an office OUTSIDE Canada? "

I hope you have found a solution to your dilemma. Is it sorted yet?

I am an outbound applicant and applied my PR through SINP EE and received my COPR in February 2020.
But due to the Covid 19 situation I was unable to travel to Canada in March, but as per the exemptions to the travel ban, I am planing to travel in mid June 2020 according to the flights availability.

Could you please clarify the following

Travel itinerary Qatar - Doha > Montreal, Pierre E.trudeau International Airport > Toronto > Saskatoon

As per the travel itinerary , first landing point to Canada is Montreal, Pierre E.trudeau International Airport.
After landing in Montreal, Quebec , I am taking the connection flight to Toronto same day (4.5hrs layover in Montreal ) and from Toronto taking a connecting flight to Saskatoon.

1. Do I have to do the landing formalities at Montreal or Toronto? How long it will need for this (Hope 4.5 hours are enough) ?

2. Will landing in Montreal be a problem because I do not have CSQ(Quebec certificate of selection - which is mandatory for settling in quebec) ? After all I am not intending to stay in Quebec as I am taking connecting flight? Just transit via Montreal.
Has anyone got denied entry or had any issues before?

3. What documents can be provided as proof that they are not going to stay in Quebec?

4. Please share your landing experience if available.

Thanks and Regards!
Hi, Did it work out for you?
