After waiting 8.5 months IRCC decided to reject wife’s visitor visa..

Are the reasons looking genuine? If not you can always appeal it

Same here buddy I applied my mom's VV in Aug 21 no reply after biometrics, they haven't even started eligibility. I raised so many webforms but no action, don't know what to do. What do u think we should try a fresh application?

IRCC stated that Applications submitted before Sep 7th will have to be resubmitted

So you may have to apply again

Ohhhh no. Now what do u think how long will new VV application take from Delhi visa office? U think IRCC will refund the fee and what about biometrics, do we have to go for new one or previous one will work? Plz reply if u have any information

biometrics is valid for 10yrs
you will have to get all updated supporting docs like bank statements
refund of fee not guaranteed
delhi vo is a mess! some people applied in june r getting decisions whereas some from 2021 r still waiting means getting decisions is more kind of luck

Hai i was applied business visa on sep 2021. Biometrics done. Stil waiting but i heared someone applied after month he got visa he reach as well. Another one my applied sep 2021 he got rejected. Please reply thanks

You have to reapply. As they already mentioned on IRCC website, all sep applications and before need to apply again

What documents did you provide last time around? You would need to show really strong ties to home country and give enough reason to convince the visa officer she will return even though her husband is in Canada. Also, since your spousal application is already in process her intention to stay in Canada long term is well established.

Does she have a job? What was your purpose of visit in application? How long did you ask for in the visitor visa? Does she have a travel history anywhere else in the world?

finally I just got approval for my Mom Visitor visa after 8 months of waiting period.
I raised a web form yesterday , and I got reply toady and after 30 minutes I got the approval and PPR request.
Application submitted - NOV 29, 2021
Biometric - Dec 20 , 2021
no update after
today July 14 , 2022 PPR request

guys try raising a web form and see if it works

she is in INDIA
and her application was submitted in New Delhi, so I raised a web form to India.
