To stay there until my PR application is processed.
Well, if you don't submit your application before leaving your country, then you most certainly should inform for the change in country of residence and additionally provide proof of your legal status in that country.

No, hours was not stated in my IC contract. I told our HR what I wanted the letter to say (as per IRCC's requirement) and they did accordingly.
Oh ok, that's really nice to know that your company wrote the hours as per your requirement. Now, I've understood things clearly, thanks to your explanations.

If I have any further questions (hopefully I won't :)), I'll get back to you (hope you won't mind). Wishing you the very best for your new journey! Thanks again!

No way in hell that you can find ~3500 ppl with these NOCs in the pool with 450+ CRS score. Also, no software engineers? No 3XXX (health care occupations)?

Don't take these NOCs as literally, but you get the point what I mean ;)

I myself am a NOC-2173 with 500+ CRS and been waiting since 1.5 yrs only to receive an ITA. Just an ITA! Canada clearly doesn't want engineers especially soft ones.

Tell me when was the last "fair" draw when they invited the highest-scoring software engineers...?
That's right..! it was eons ago!

I feel ya man the anxiety is killing me. But shouldn't it be easier for software engineers? Both ON and BC list 2173 in their tech draws, and you can surely find something out there. Also multinationals in tech field have blank LMIA, they can hire oversea workers like you easily.

Im at 482, and I turn older in November. Really hoping for an ITA. NOC 0124.

Can someone provide some practical scenarios? My anxiety, just like a lot of us, is struggling. But Im holding up, going jogging, eating healthy, working etc.

Software engineers have probably had the hardest time of all.

- BC is only inviting based on job offer and getting a job offer from overseas, that too when you are living in a 3rd world country is next to nil. From what I found out, most of those job offers go to the ones who are already in BC on an open work-permit or a PGWP.

- Ontario has not been doing what I would consider a "fair draw". All their draws were CRS capped and they haven't done a tech-draw since February. It's almost like they are purposely avoiding it.

I think with CRS 500+, you will be fine. It will be idiotic for IRCC if they ignore those with such high scores and only invite 300ers.

Who wants "soft ones"?
In all seriousness, I think that the first few draws will be quite big ones, at least 3,900 per, so the ones with CRS>500 should not wait more than a month. If they would continue with this trend, we should see cut-offs in the low 480s-high 470s in 3 months, assuming the pool doesn't add much high scorers...
Best of luck to everyone waiting...
