Visitor Family Event

Hello , I'am a student, from Egypt looking forward to attend an important family event in Toronto this summer , i would like to ask for people's opinion wether this makes a good candidate to receive a TRV or not ,
I'am an Engineering student 2 semesters away from graduation , i will be invited by my uncle to this event but i will sponsor the round trip myself , i have a bank account with € 20,000 but unfortunately the passport is brand new so it doesn't have any visas yet .. is the case strong or weak here ?.. What makes a strong profile is travel history (UK, US, NZ, AUS), liquid funds, ties to home country (tuition paid, immediate family, job, investments, property etc.)? Other factors include length of visit and reasons to travel (what is an important event). How did uncle receive PR/citizenship?

The event is my cousin's wedding, The length of the visit therefore would be a couple of weeks , He received PR in a skilled worker program , the only ties lie in family obligation , I am the only sibling to a widowed mother and my college : i have 2 semesters left till graduation

All you can do is try. You have the funds (if yours and not your mother’s) and reason to return (school). Your weak spot is lack of travel history and you are single with no spouse and children. Not sure when the wedding is but you should apply now because processing can be months. Assume your mother is not going to the wedding.
