Semi-trolling as usual mate. I try to mix some truth in it too though. I'm not at all surprised by what I faced here because I'd lived it before and now I'm living it again. Partly sharing my view here so that folk might be aware. And I meant it when I implied you should not at all be worried about NOC-based draws. Take my word on this; every peep we have here will get their PR eventually, including yourself. Not a single fella will be left without it by mid 2023. Thing is, the ride until you get your PR is not the real thing. The real journey begins after you've got your PR and it's not an easy ride at all. Not even for Canadians themselves.
But that's a part of life my mate. Let me tell you my story without making it too long. I almost came close to immigrating to Canada before EE in the early 2010s. I even had a very decent job lined-up. Then the Canadian government overhauled its entire system and then I had to go back home. It was a very dark period of my life. I could've given up, I just had a two year Canadian diploma, nothing else. But I did my Bachelors and Masters in Europe, and learned French from scratch. I faced a lot of shit, conflict and problems in Europe, much more than in Canada. And now I think I'll be eligible for my Canadian PR.
After that, I am sure that I'll go through many problems again, but eventually I am sure I will find something in Canada that I like doing and can make a decent living in the process. You may not get a job at TD, but you can learn trades, etc which can really bump your salary up in Canada. I knew a Canadian guy working for BMO. He was sick of the politics, and then he left his job to drive a cargo van from Windsor to up state New York. He has a very nice house in Waterloo right now. I guess life is all about struggles with brief moments of relief and happiness. Sorry to be a wise-ass and pontificating, but I really do think that things will get better for you and despite the issues, you will be looking back at this period with a massive "umph" once you're all settled in.
