she had done biometrics.. Correct me if I am wrong is the next step decision made?

Is eligibility already passed? I thought that was after medical.

So after medicals comes eligibility? I guess but not sure

Normally you complete the medical. Then you get medical passed. Then background check passed. Then eligibility. I think that's the order. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this.

so they can do it all at once I guess

no my spouse finished her course. she doesn't qualify for Post grad OWP. and we didn't apply for OWP as she gave a birth 20 days ago. she is on maternity leave
When did she finish school? She may already be out of status.

Study permit will become invalid 90 days after you complete your studies (even before your study permit expiry date).

she finished end of February however her study permit expires in May 26 2022. So status is still valid . I will apply for visitor record for her

The date on the study permit is irrelevant. What matters is how long ago she completed her studies. You want to make sure you apply to change her status to visitor before she reaches 90 days after the day she completed her studies.

Depending on what province you live in your wife may also be losing her access to healthcare soon. If that is the case you’ll need to purchase private health insurance to at least cover emergencies but postpartum care is unlikely to be covered.

in AB. AS per AHS they said to apply for visitor record and they will give 90 days extension so postpartum is covered.
I guess we will have to apply for a visitor record this week.

Has anyone applied and knows how to apply?
