Hi ,

I am on WP and valid visa holder of canada . My PR was under processing under canadian experience class.I had to come to India due to some urgency and updated the address in PR application. Now ,I have received PPR request on email but the problem is that my tickets are already booked for 11th May as i had valid visa.

As the journey date is close and it is highly unlikely that i would receive my passports from VFS before the journey date . I know that best way is to cancel my tickets and postpone the journey (which will costs me alot due to expensive flight tickets ) and submit my passports to make this situation smoother.

Or can i just stick to my earlier plan for canada and inform to the IRCC after landing to canada on 11th May ? Can it cause a problem to my application ? will it delay the process ?

If i cancel tickets and rebook then it will cost me alot and my employer will also not allow me to live in india for so long. Please note that i have two dependents on my application also.

I am in very tough situation. Please help and suggest.
@legalfalcon your help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Congratulations!!!! Can you tell us your timeline and VO?
Sure..

VO: Edmonton
Invite received: 13th Feb 2021
Med done: Feb 2021
BIL received: 6th May (my husband who's in Canada got it done immediately, since I am in India and VACs here reopened only in July 2021, my biometrics happened on 23rd July)
PR approval: 25th Mar 2022
PPR: 12th Apr 2022
COPR: 28th Apr 2022
Waiting for husband's PR card... :)

In between, out of desperation I also had contacted our local MP in Toronto for their help on 9th Feb 2022 because of which we were at least able to get an idea as to what was the status of our application. I contacted the MP again on 3rd Mar requesting if they could help us by expediting the processing of our application, don't know if they have anything to do with this but we got our approval after 22 days...

Hi Everyone

AOR Feb 2021
Fsw Inland with dependent in India
Remedical Request May 18 2022
Medical Passed May 29
Request Letter for dependent in India June 1

As my husband has a visitor visa and will reaching canada on June 5th. So will it be ok if he can travel and then can we inform IRCC about the change in country of residence using webform. As the principal applicant did not receive COPR.

Or should we cancel the trip and wait until principal applicant gets COPR

If anyone who has gone through this or knows about it please share some insight. I would really appreciate it
