I received an "Invitation to Pre-arrival services" Letter on April 28th. Do you guys think is it something good or just a process step. The background check is still in progress.

Yes, it's specifically asking China's household registration, which I have provided when I sent application back in October but apparently they ignored that.
VO is CPC-Mississauga

No biomatric required as in feb 2019 already done for Visitor Visa ..

While trying to link application to Gckey carefully give the answer of last question.. number of persons

Try including your siblings even though they are over 18. Do not count your kids.
It worked for me when I included myself, my husband, my parents, my brother who is 17, and my sister who is 30, so 6 in total. I did not count my kids.

How do you use F12 trick on the application page? I finally received an update on my application today 3rd May. They have returned the application and requested 5768 and 5406 again.

Open a chrome tab>press F12>you will see some pane opening up on the right>click Network in that pane>then click Fetch/Xhr

now go to https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/ then sign in and click view application

on the right click on "cases?phase" > then click Preview on its right

Then click on the arrows to see more notes

Status is still 7 which is submitted, it will not change until case worker reviews all documents. Once case worker reviewed one document, the last update date for each document will be updated, that’s why I noticed he reviewed 5 documents so far.

So u meant at the bottom of the 5 documents they’re updated and the rest not yet. I thought they update it all at the same time. I didn’t notice mine since I only checked it when I got the ghost email and all documents are updated at the same day.

Same for me . Found the application number through GCkey and no need for fingerprints because it is done before for visitor visa.
Haven’t received ghost email and waiting for next steps
