What's your plan from here on out? Which province are you intending to go? When are you landing? We wanna know all the deets!

Happy for you bro. Holding thumbs for the others.

I am coming to your province :D

I am planning to land in 4-5 months so the plans could change but for now, Saskatoon is the plan.

So how does it feel to be PR :D :D :D ? Get ready to experience some pretty mixed feeling the next few days - elation and anxiety and anti-climax :D :D :D.
My stress of whether or not I will get the PR has been replaced by "Holy shit. It's actually happening. I have so many things to plan and to do!"

But the stress of moving/planning is nowhere near the stress of the PR wait. I can't wait to finally land and get that anti-climax feeling that you are talking about. Here's hoping the situation at Service Canada will be resolved by the time I land. I read their reviews on Google and it doesn't seem promising though.

Although nothing is set in concrete, I have been looking into working as an IT contractor in Canada. It seems like something that will suit my lifestyle more.

I spent all day yesterday finding the details of sending the passport for stamping. It still feels a little surreal.

I have been told the stress will last for a year even after moving. Hopefully, after that things will fall into place.

To all members and @stirredo @wonderbly @dankboi @ElvisRamaj @scylla.

I posted a few days ago regarding my medical situation. I had an idea and wanted your input. Quick recap. Did upfront two months ago. no reply to webforms and medical not processed. Received request from IRCC for new medicals. Went to clinic and they said they can't link medicals. also declined to do new medicals until current ones are valid.

Now I have also received adr for pcc and schedule A. Do you think if it would be a good idea to take advantage of this opportunity and also add my upfront medicals with pcc and add an LOE explaining why I am doing that?

I will have all my documents ready by tomorrow and planning to do that. If you guys think it is a bad idea please let me know now. Thankyou!

Have you tried calling them? I still think the agent placing a note for the officer is your best option. It takes a while and a lot of patience to get hold of an agent but I think that will give you something concrete to work with.

Ask the agent to place a note for the officer to link the medicals, and also explain that the medical center has refused to do so. There is also a post going around with a few email IDs that people have said have worked for linking medicals to your profile. I think @suzanne456 faced a similar problem that you are facing right now. She may be able to share the email IDs with you.

So you are landing in Fall. That is a good time - weather is not too hot and it's not yet winter. Your plans for work is superb. If you can have it lined up before coming that will be even more superb. Remote work is the in-thing now. You can live anywhere and work remotely. My hubby is making US pay while living modestly in humble Regina :).

All the best with all your plans bro. Congrats again.

Is he working as a contractor too?

I have been told to register a business in my name and find work that way. I have also been told to get a high-level AWS certification that should help to find work over there, which isn't easy but worth it in my field.

I just finished my remeds. Do I need to upload anything to my portal or will the medical provider do it? This is not upfront. It's a medical remed that ircc asked for

I don't think its a good idea to add you upfront medicals witht he PCC.

Shouldn't the IRCC send you an IMEI that the clinic can link the new medicals ?

If the deadline is far away you will be fine. But if the deadline is near, it won't hurt to send the e-medical sheet to IRCC through webform and let them know that you are done with your part of the deal.

Hi everyone
Do you know why IRCC has stopped processing 2019 applications?
They kept sending PPR to Dec and Nov 2020 and seem to have reached to Jan 2021 now!!!

@ElvisRamaj They just sent the IME number two weeks back and I have sent upfront medical sheets through webform at that time and also two months ago. I have received no reply and its been two months but no one has processed medicals. I am planning to attach upfronts with medical to bypass this whole process. My thinking is at least this way someone who is looking at my documents will look at them and might process them with my adr.

@stirredo Thank you for your reply. I know you must be busy planning for your next steps. deadline is still 20 days away but my aor is July 2020 and I am so done with the process. IRCC has not replied to my webforms sent 2 months ago to process upfronts. I am thinking this way it will directly go to my VO and an officer will see my upfronts and might decide to process them asap rather than waiting in the medical queue

@wonderbly thank you so much for your reply. You have been kind enough to reply to my posts before too

I have a question,
Is it possible that a tie-breaker will be applied for draw.
Also how good a 479 score.
Thank you
