Depends on program length and tuition fees. Minimum is pay first year tuition and $10k in bank (absolute minimum) so around $25k.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your advice, so lets assume my tuition is 18k CAD and living expenses is 12kCAD, meaning I need nothing less than 40 grand?

18 and 12 is 30 but I think the more you have the more comfortable your life will be. But more money does not mean you have a guarantee of approval.
