ECAS and New Portal

Hey people, I have applied online. So I track status from online (new) tracker.

To the best of your knowledge could someone please suggest "If I can also track status using ECAS a.k.a. the old portal"?

To clarify the intention behind my question, "should I or should I not" or "why should I try that" are not the questions.

Yes, you can. Both options work. On ECAS you will see Decision Made, as and when applicable. On the new portal, it continues to say In Process till the very end. Also, you might encounter what is famously called the Ghost Update on the new portal!

To be honest here, it would have taken you less time and fewer keystrokes to go on ECAS and check if your application shows up there than making this post. Online applications don't seem to show up on ECAS. Try it.
