I agree with you but one of the reason why we are having less posting could be that most of the quebec selected applicants are French speaking people and it may be hard for them to express themselves on here. However, from now on, I will do my best to make it more active and possibly answer to your queries. I am also confident that you and other guys will assist.

Hi Wingsofmaybe7777,
I agree with Shahi and PMM. Your PCC is not useful while applying for CSQ. You will only need it for federal and should not be older than 3 months.
Normal procedure:
1. Get your CSQ with MICC (application should be send to Quebec). It may take 1 month to a year depending on how well you organize your documents, answering the questions and your French level.
2. Quebec will send you two copies of CSQ: one to use with federal application and marked Immigration, you should keep the other one with you (could be required by Quebec authorities for school, SIN and health insurance).
3. Before submitting application to federal, make sure that you have your FBI and police clearance from all the countries that you have been for at least 6 months.
4. If your papers are in order, federal will send you section A of your medical (your DMP should have other sections).
5. Make appointment with your DMP and do your medical (do not ask for a copy of your medical since the Dr. is not supposed to give it to you).
6. The clinic or the Dr. will send your medical to Ottawa who will look at it and contact you if there is a problem. If not, Ottawa will contact your local visa office and give them the information. During all this time, your e-cas status will be “In process”.
7. The immigration officer that is in charge of your application will notify you through your e-cas and under In process: medical results have been received.
8. If you are lucky the same day you will get your PPR.
9. Just before you get your visa or shortly after your e-cas will go from In process to decision has been made
10. After landing, e-cas will be updated to finalize or case has been finalized.
Note: sometimes, there are a lot of frustrations between Applying for CSQ and case has been finalized (waiting period). To avoid this, I would suggest you to plan your next 2 years with a lot of funs. Be positive but do not sit back thinking that you will get your visa (PR) in 2 months. I am not saying that it is impossible since I do believe in miracles but...

Anyone can answer my question please?

Is there any rule for QUEBEC whereby not more than 1 or 2 years should have passed since the applicant's last job possessed when he is going to apply for Quebec? That is, is it possible someone applies for Quebec while his last job position goes back to almost 2 years ago?

Anyways, I am hoping for faster processing (hopefully not 2 years ) since I believe im in the fast-track... I have BS in Management (Business). Under fast track the official website states 60 days for processing QSC but lets wait and see.

I wish I really didnt have to apply for another FBI check, it takes 4 months now and I already have one, I guess I applied for it too quickly.

They go by the transcript. So if your curriculum is equivalent or similar to Quebec Business Management program then I think you qualify for fast-track. You would need to check your core courses with the courses at one of Quebec Colleges.
Like for example Micro, macroeconomics, accounting, marketing management, business law, sales management and things like that.

BS (Business of Science) is an undergraduate degree, MBA is graduate hence you might even be in a better position.

Congratulations and welcome to this forum! Hard and long road but it is going to pay off. Just hang in there...
I am convincing that you will get your PR visa by the end of this year and I am glad that you are already planning ahead for your life in Quebec. One of the best things with this forum is that we are here to look for each other, support and help each other to accomplish our dreams. I am sure that before the end of this year, a lot of us will be already in Quebec and we will effectively be able to help with housing or at least where new comers can stay for the first couple of weeks (I would like to do that and I will be happy if other members of this forum can join me to boost the idea).
Where to stay? Is a crucial question for all of us and I am glad that Petrajo just mention it here. I will encourage our members to come and express themselves about this important subject. You can visit: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/housing/index.html but again there is no warranty.
Regarding to your first question, I know for sure that MICC has a very structured apparatus of volunteers for new comers, so I will think that one of the volunteers will welcome you at the airport and possible have the gut to help you find your hotel or your place. On the other hand, if you have the address or the name of the hotel, any taxi driver can help you find your way out.
I am not sure if this is the answer to your queries; however, the more you stick around the more people will come and talk about it.
