Work permit on Tourist Visa

Hi Team,

I am looking for some guidance on how easy or difficult is it to get a work permit as a Visitor. Which professions are in high demand and has LMIA easily available in?

Very difficult. You need a LMIA so the employer needs to prove no Canadian/PR can be hired. They pay $1000 and then apply for the LMIA filling out all the paperwork. This takes months. Then if approved, you apply for a closed work permit. Again takes months to process.
