work experience. employer sold the company.i got fired. please help

I have 4 year of experience in an IT company in India. the company was sold and the new management is not friendly. They fired me and other staff and bought in new people. Can I still show this experience in my profile?
I don't have any pay stubs as I was paid in cash. the company even changed the website address?
Is it okay if I just show affidavit from the old colleagues?
Please help. I am not eligible now without that experience?

No.not regularly. probably every 2 3 months I used to deposit it in my bank account.
I read that if I get an affidavit from a colleague that is okay too. Is this true?

how does CIC verify the information?

The situation is tacky, you may get affidavit for work experience stamped by notary, try the same for pay stub and write a Letter of explanation. We should be able to explain about the pay stub and company being acquired in LOE. Hope this works for you.
