Work before starting of classes

I got student visa to canada and I'm planning to go 2 months before my classes starts. So, i want to know that can i work there before my classes start?

you can start your work only after your classes have started. Working before it would be considered as illegal

I was asking this because i heard that it is difficult to find work there. So i think going in advance may help me in landing a good part time job. Thanks for the reply.

You can definitely look for a job ahead of time - you just can't start working until you've started attending school.
