Received AOR by letter yesterday. Applied on Sep 8th and AOR issued on Mar 11th. How long would MR take? Two weeks?

No, it is based on the current turnaround period for PNP applicants. Let's see if we get it in this week. i will post you whenever i get it.

I feel like it's going to take a looong period of time to get MR. The application number was just one mandatory step for them to send it to avoid any legal objection. They won't actually be processing the files (again, that's what I think).

Our status updated online a week after we received AOR. Therefore, i think that we should receive our MR within a week after our status is updated online. I read somewhere that it is an automated system which sends out MRs, not a Visa Officer. Let's wait until the end of this week. One thing i know for sure is our files are put together at one place: Me, rdbr, & mobhrdwj. Lol

Applied for pnp : 9th october 2014

Got pnp on 6 th february 2015

Applied for PR on 24th march

I am waiting to hear some good news from ppl. awaiting MR. One of my friends had received her AOR on Feb. 16/2015 and MR on March 06/2015, so it took exactly 3 weeks to get MR.

Let's see guys if we see anything during this week.

I really hope your are right Sandipppp, Its really frustrating to wait for MR now specially when we can see people around us receiving MR with AOR or within a week .

I received my AOR on March 9 and it has been more than 3 weeks now. No MR yet.

On the other hand to look at the positive side total processing time is 17 months and 8 months have passed already so only 9 more months to go till we get our visas if everything stays on track ;D ;D

Yes, right guys. i saw a few other groups where Oct. applicants received MR along with their File Number. It looks like CIC getting on track slowly. Just to let you know that i am going to contact my local MP to have them make a Ministerial Inquiry into this. whether it turns out to bring favorable result or not, no idea about it, however i will pursue it and ll keep you posted fellas.
