You need to be either married or common law (have lived together for at least a year) in order for her to be able to apply to come to Canada based on your study permit. If you are not married or common law, she would have to apply for her own study permit.

If she can get an approved tourist visa, then yes - you can get married in Canada. And yes - you can apply for her to remain in Canada while you study. There is no guarantee the tourist visa will be approved. There is also no guarantee her application to remain in Canada with you (open work permit or extension of her tourist visa) will be approved.

Your question is still very difficult to understand. Please write full words and sentences.

The person who comes to Canada on a study permit must study full time. They can also work up to 20 hours a week part time. The spouse / common law partner of the person who is in Canada on a study permit can apply for an open work permit. If the open work permit is approved, they can work full time. There is no guarantee the open work permit will be approved.

I think you are asking if your common-law girlfriend would be able to work in Canada if she comes along with you on your study permit in Canada. The answer is NO. She would need PR status or a work visa to work.

Once again, if one spouse has a study permit the other spouse can TRY to apply for an open work permit. However there is no guarantee the spouse's work permit will be approved.

No, it doesn't married whether common-law or married. You need a PR or work visa to work. Being an accompanying spouse for someone on a student visa will not permit you to work. You would need to apply for a work permit or apply for PR independently.

Actually - that's not quite correct. If your spouse is a foreign student in Canada on a study permit this entitles the spouse to apply for an open work permit (based on their spouse's study permit). Having said that, there's no guarantee the open work permit will be approved. We see plenty of refusals on the forum.

Gosh... bro everybody above said a very simple thing that i think u could not understand.
here, let me try.

if u come to Canada via study visa, u HAVE to study FULL TIME and along with that u can do 20Hrs work, IF u get some job.
now, that out of the way, if u are thinking of bringing ur girlfriend WITH u well, u have 2 options,
1- she can come with AFTER applying for open work permit, on behalf of ur Study Visa. IF thats approved.
2- she get Tourist Visa, and she comes with u, u both can get married in Canada.

BOTH of these options depend on Approval of either Open work permit and/or tourist visa

hope i cleared it to u a little ;)
