Hi! I applied for a work visa (i.e., postdoctoral researcher) along with my wife (i.e., open work visa) and a baby (i.e., visitor visa and he is 2 years old). I got the PPR today. However, visa status for my family (i.e., wife and a baby) is showing "We started eligibility .... ". Is it normal flow? Should I be worried? Moreover, They requested a birth certificate for my baby. I uploaded it instantly.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's normal. The applications are processed separately. There's no need to worry.

Thanks for your information. How long does it take to get the result? Should I wait for them and send the passport altogether or I have to send my passport first as I already got PPR?

It's hard to say. Could be days or a few weeks or even a few months. No, do not send their passports. They have not been approved. Only send yours.
