Hi guys! I really need your advice regarding my sitution.
So I got a Post Graduation Work Permit valid till July 2014 and just recently I got a full time job offer (Skiled NOC O---- as a Management Trainee) from Company A. I passed all the interviews and after my employer have known that I was a International Student and Im just holding a post grad work permit, they got hesitant to hire me thinking that I might have immigration problems in the future. They actually want to hire a PR since Management Trainee Program takes a long process-- minimum 1 year. But then they didn't state that on job bank website so I still applied.
The problem is that I got a job offer in the other company too (Company B) but I turned it down since I like Company A better.
I hope Company A will be fair to me since I rejected the other company because of them. And the fact that they should have stated that they're looking for a PR would make sense.
Now here's the thing. I tried to discuss the options to the Recruiting Manager of the Company A the ways so that I could obtain my PR. I mentioned to him about Opportunities Ontario and Canadian Experience Class.
He has told me he would call the HR Dept. and try to convince them.
I really hope they would be fair.
I dont know what specific questions to ask you guys but what can you tell me about this?
