You'll get zero points for the job offer itself.

Because the work permit is LMIA exempt, you must work in the job in Canada for one full year before you will qualify for the 50 points. Your employer will also need to provide a letter stating that you'll have a job with them for at least a year after you become a PR.

Hello, I have three questions

1. How can I reflect this in the Express Entry form? I mean how I can include this fact "I would have a job one year after becoming a PR" in the application form such that the extra 50 points be evaluated in the final result? If I get these extra points, my score would be above 500 and I would be selected in the next draw.

2. Could this letter be from a different employer?

3.Could that employer be from Quebec?

I appreciate any help.

1. Have you worked for the employer for at least one year in Canada? Is it a closed work permit or open work permit?
2. Only if you have an approved LMIA.
3. No.

3. No.
1. Yes, I have worked for one year and I have a work permit issued specifically for that job offer. I have a separate open work permit (PGWP).

2. At the moment, I don't have an LMIA.

3. :(
