1. I want an application for Open work permit to put in with my immigration application (inside Canada). I've gone thru the CIC website, cud only find work permit for people applying frm outside Canada.

It's an application to change conditions as in to change from visitor to work

If you're still unsure, better for you to call the CIC Call Center. They're pretty accomodating and they could send you the application kit.

ireneboston, if you are looking for an open work permit applicaiton, follow the link provided by PMM. you want to download IMM1249 and this is your applicaiton to change your conditions, so if you are in-land just check off box C. I think it woudl be a good idea to take off your address off this website!\Good luck.
