In-land sponsorship and inteview--we are almost done!

Re: In-land sponsorship and inteview,AIP, help needed to do workapplication Sorry...forgot the other part of your question. If you were approved in principle in Aug 2009, did they also ask you for a background check or medical (or both). If not, then my guess would be you wont have to wait...

    Question About Client Number

I think I understand but unfortunately I don't know the answer. Maybe someone else can answerr and let me help explain my understanding of the question: I think you are asking that you will only get a client number when your PRV documents are open but not when they extend your Visa. So, you...

    Question About Client Number

Have you actually received any communicaiton from CIC at all? Until your file is in "process" I don't think you will have a client number. I remember when we put in our applicaiton (April 2006),about 6 months later we still hadn't heard anything and when I called CIC to find out if they even...

    Inland versus Outland

In my case that was very true: i.e., that our inland application took longer than it probably would have had I just sponsored my husband from overseas. But mine was/is complicated. I just replied to your question on the other thread. Read it for more info and Good Luck to you. Truth be told, it...

    please explain it to me....

Oops, sorry I just realized i didn't really answer your question specifically. If you read my thread, it might be clear it might not. Why do I believe it took so long? Because it didnt "look" legitmate. We had such little documention that it looked (on paper) that it could have been a marriage...

    please explain it to me....

Um....I can't tell...you are being sponsored by your husband in land? If this is the case, then check on the CIC website as they state the aplication can be approved in 5-6 months. BUT that is only if there is no complication (like they need to verify the "bona fides" or genuine nature of the...

    couple differnces

Sorry for the stupid question, but I can't tell: which one of you two is doing the sponsorsing?? Is your wife sponsoring you or are you sponsoring her to come to Canada? IN any case, I don't think they will outright reject your applicaiton but in the presence of little documention, it seems the...

You will be "Alive and Well and Living in Canada" soon!

I find Canadians more "tolerant" of each others rather than just "friendly" per se. I have lived in Canada all my life and wouldn't live anywhere else. However, I have noticed when I travel to the Southern states the people are really friendly. Down home Southern Hospitality I guess. You're...

    need a reply please

The MP is your Member of Parliament for the Federal Governement. In your case, it would have to be your wife wh contacts the MP to look into your file since she is the Canadian citizen. Just be aware, contacting the MP may not make any difference as in my case, we put in our application in April...

    need a reply please

Hi, The timeline for inland sponsorship can be much longer than ourland sponsorship. Until they give you first stage of approval you really can't do much but wait. You can't work or study because they wont issue permits. You may want to try to contact your MP and see if they can speed things...
