Two different name of same person in passport

In my Passport and other documents my name is written without SURNAME but in my daughters passport ( under Father s Name column) it is written with my surname. Can it create any problem. How to solve it? Is there any Affidavit required to be submitted to CIC.

In the same way My wife has name without surname in all documents but in passport her name is written with her Surname.

Does your name or your wife's name have initials in the other documents?
In India, we mostly add initials instead of surname. But passport does not allow initials. If you have initials, I don't think you have a problem.

it is not a big deal just provide self declaration for one and same name and not to consider it as name change go to court if in india or to some lawyer if any other country they will make one for you
