Hello,
I am a Pakistani national living in Saudi Arabia for the last 5 years.
I had applied for a single entry TRV visa which was rejected because of the following reasons.

1. Immigration status.
2. Your family Ties in Canada and your country of residence.
3. Your Current Employment Situation.

I was planning to visit my sister who is doctor working in canada as well as my parents who are on PR status, my wife also has her mother and brothers living in canada. My sister had sent a very strong invitation letter stating her position which was also notoraized along with her bank statements and property letters. I had included all the documents to show my ties with saudi and pakistan, like my childrens school certificates, my property documents etc. along my bank statement, i am working in a oil and gas services company and i usually travel 5 to 6 times out of saudi, i had to include extra sheet for my last 5 years travel history, still they rejected the visa with the above comments.
I am planning to re-apply i need an advise on what different to do this time to get the visa.

Thanks
Majid

Issues:

1) You are not living in your home country. Weak ties to your home country.

2) You have significant family in Canada. Strong ties to Canada.

You should apply for your case notes, but the two reasons I have listed are probably what killed your TRV.

As amikety explained, you have extremely strong ties to Canada and this is one of the primary reasons your TRV was refused. Having a Canadian citizen daughter actually makes your case worse (not better) since this further demonstrates that you have very strong ties to Canada.

Is there any further evidence you can provide that show you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans to remain in Canada long term?

They aren't deciding anything about your family. They are deciding if you're allowed to enter Canada, which is their job.

You'll need to show more proof you'll leave Canada as we have suggested.
