My wife (Armenian, living in Armenia - me in Canada) was granted her Temporary Residence Visa a few days ago. We are both flying to the United States next week to spend a couple of weeks together, and had hoped that after that we could come up to Canada for a few days for a visit during the same trip. All of our flights are booked, including the Canadian leg.
Anyway, my wife went to the CIC visa office in Armenia today, and they told her that they have to take her passport and send it to the Canadian embassy in Moscow to attach her visa. This is a problem as it would not be back in time for her to fly to the USA...!
Does anyone know if it's possible to pick up a TRV from a CIC office in the US? We're going to be in California for two weeks.
Aside from losing $2,500 worth of flights and postponing our entire trip (which we can't exactly afford to do!) I don't really know what to do
