I would like to have some suggestions regarding travel to India.

I have applied for PR and I am travelling to India for 2 months in July and August. My worker visa expires on October 2014 mean while I am planning to apply BOWP from Canada online and my wife would be here to collect it.

Does the Immigration officials in India or CBSA would give us the hard time as we have only 2 months of visa left if in case we did not receive the BOWP or receive the BOWP.

Please advise.

Hi,

Indian immigration wont care as long as you have a visa that hasnt expired and CBSA will be able to see your latest status in their system.

So you can travel without any hassle.

Yes. You worker visa that is valid till Oct will serve the purpose.

BOWP is only a permit that allows you to work in Canada. You cannot use it to get into the country. The worker visa that is on your passport is what you'll use.
