To quit or not to quit

I've been unemployed since Jan 2016. Started a new job 2 months ago. Company is good, colleagues are good. The only problem is that it's too busy, deadlines are one after another and working 45-50 hour weeks consistently. Not to mention about the stress and intensity of the tasks, constantly being checked on the status of work by my manager.

Should I quit and look for another job or should I stick with it until either I can make it or get fired? I'm on the verge of breaking. Hoping for some light but not seeing. Money wise still ok as my wife is working. However, my concern will be the ease for looking another job as it took 5 months to get to this one. What do you guys think? Any input will be very much appreciated.

What kind of job is it?

In the corporate world, having deadline after deadline is completely normal.

Hours might not be all that unusual either depending on the industry and job.

So I guess the scope scale of the job was not made clear when you applied ? Maybe you are being tested as a new employee through a probationary period to see if the company want to keep you on ? The fact that you say is a good company, good colleagues is a plus and you have a job after 18 months without so not all bad. Are all your colleagues also pushed to deliver and work the hours quoted ?
