Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

I have had similar situation. try this:
use Application # and UCI #, that way you don't have to put in last name.
put in passport information and not the city which the applicant was born.
when it comes to where they will be living, put in the information of where you are currently living. if different from the time of your application, try using what you put in the application.
and finally for the family size, you should put in # of family member (yourself, your spouse, children) + applicant + any dependent of applicant
also, I am not sure, but you might have to include your spouse's parents if they are living with you and they are shown on your application as your dependent.

I believe the # of family member comes from the financial evaluation form.

How long does BLS actually take to get the PCC from India? They usually say 4-6 weeks .

If someone can get PCC fom India, make sure to ask them to send it by some reliable fast service courier like Fedex, UPS etc (usually gets delivered in 3-5 days excluding weekends and stats) so that you get the PCC on time so that you can send it to CIC before the CIC's deadline.

Only thing I can think of right now is, which UCI # are you using? are you using your UCI #?

the UCI # has to be of the applicant and not the sponsor's.

if you are using correct UCI, then I guess try different combination.

I've also tried this but it does not work.
I think we will have to wait until we get the SA.
Bcoz on that link it says you cannot link sponsorship applications and the File number we have right now is sponsorship file number, also UCI is sponsor's UCI.

My father has a UCI as he and my mom has visited Canada before and it still did not work while trying to link on MYCIC site.
I think we have to wait until we get SA.

Was someone else in this forum able to link the application on MYCIC before SA approval?

I received an email from Delhi office on Aug 02 requesting Schedule A, travel Information, Landing fee and medical
I have two questions
1) can I pay my fees online or is there any other convenient way to pay $490
2) This is about medicals. In the only email I received it came with following instructions
You and your family members who are included in this application must undergo complete medical examinations. You will receive a separate e-mail with instructions for medical examination for you and your dependants, whether accompanying or not. The issuance of medical instructions does not constitute final acceptance of your application.

But I never received the separate email with instructions for medical examination. Should I go for medicals or wait?

It shouldn't make any remarkable confusion.

For example, my mom received medical request along with PCC, RPRF etc. recently via email from Singapore. In the email, it says they would send a separate email containing proper IME form. Although she still didn't get the email, she can see this actual Medical Request Form in her MyCIC account. So, it's rather helpful.

I have got the SA.I tried from both sides ie applicants side and sponsorers side but failed to link my application to cic a/c.Earlier I succedded to link my application at the time of my Visitor Visa application.

finally succeeded, mistake in my case was for birth city I was entering the city name in india but in my moms passport the birth town is written as CITY, STATE
so once I entered that then it worked so please do match with passport details.

FYI. My Ottawa case status changed to IP on Wed, and another note added into ECAS today, saying started processing on Aug-10.

I have a question. Has anybody passed medicals with a heart coronary stent that was placed a few years ago? Does it make trouble?
