Timeline for PNP from New Delhi.

@ Chadha .. I know its kinda frustating ...but you know to get good thing you have to take the pain first ..... so hang on ... I started this beging of 2009 and yet to complete it ... till I recieve the pps ... can't explain how many times I came close to giving up ...

by the way I just checked e cas and now my canada address has appeared ... so i guess they must be running some kind of batch this time to update the data ..surely they don't work on saturday

hi alaboa.. ive been looking at ur previous posts and saw that you got ur visa .. firstly congrats on that .. also i see you have mentioned that you had a history of travels .. i had the same thing .. i had to police certificates for two countries (OZ n NZ) and also for India as well ofcourse.. I sent my passports to them on 9th May 2012, and it changed to Inprocess on 27th April, till now there havent been any update on my profile and I am extremely concerned about the same, could you please share your timeline?? thanks .. manubobby

Application reached nova scotia : 5th april 2012
AOR Received.: 04-May-2012
Med's/passport/add docs(reference and education) Request: 18-Jul-2012
Med's Done....: 28-Jul-2012
Documents sent : 2nd aug 2012
medical recieved shown on ecas: 13th aug(approx , i forgot exact date)
Decision made : 21 Sep 2012 ,
visa issued on 18th sept 2012

Just hang on ..from your past post I understand that your rprf has been encashed , they have confirmed reciept of the pp. my suggestion will be do not contact cio unless you have to as this will mean whenever they will review your file their task will be to check your pending status and why it is stuck instead of answering your queries .... my travel was to US multiple times since 2000 ... I stayed there as well for 5 years ... I also stayed in europe for an year in one of their prominent countries ...in my case I submitted fbi verification for us , police certificate for india(commissioner office) and the europian one .. I had other travels as well but with small number of days in europe and asia...but my visa was issued in timeline of other member with zero travel ... so my guess is they might have tie up to verify person's security check fast from some of these countries ...again I am not sure ...just guessing... also I work for a very reputed concern ...in my case I have been working with them for long time and they just asked me to submit employer reference from only that organization ... I had other employers too but they didn't ask ...could be they are concerned only with last 5 years as I have seen in this web site somewhere....

My guess is u are stuck because of oz/nz ... Leolive too was stuck but ultimately got it ...he had nz in his travel if I remember correctly ...so could be for specific countries it takes time .... so don't worry ...keep yourself busy with some other stuff and keep checking ecas on mon and fri 2nd half may be ...sooner or later it will come through ...good luck

thanks a lot for responding buddy, highly appreciated, yea .. NZ does take sometime because.. we just send them a consent form and they contact they Sydney, Australia for the police verification from New Zealand which I understand takes time and yes I have had short trips to middle east and south east asia as well, so i guess thats not an issue here and the issue is NZ along, coz I had to get the Police certificates myself for Australia, which I did and took me about a month to get that sorted as well.. anyways .. keeping my fingers crossed hoping to see something good to happen .. once again thanks for sharing your info buddy .. have a good one .. cheers

Dear All

Can you please advise on the following:

1) Once the application is submitted to CIO and file number alloted what documents does New Delhi ask for?

2) I gone through some of the previous posts and it seems that once the file is transferred to Delhi it takes about 8-10 months to complete the process of stamping the passports? Is that right?

3) Although India is my county of origin, London visa office is my local visa office as per my country of residence. London is taking 6-8 months. I have to fill the generic form and choose the visa office. Any suggestions should I go for London or Delhi?

Any advise on any or all of the above points is much appreciated.

Hello friends,

My cousin has got a MPNP approval and now he has to apply to CIO.

In the checklist of CIO documents, it is mentioned that "copy" of Nomination certificate is to be sent.... but on the Nomination certificate itself, it is clearly mentioned that we need to attach the "original letter" with the complete application package.

We are in a confusion, need your valuable suggestions

Also in checklist, it is mentioned that "copy" of IELTS score card is needed. Really so?

Under which stream did u apply..... and how come they have called for an interview?? Pretty surprising .... coz haven't come across many cases where they have called for an interview.....!!

My employer had received positive LMO 4 months ago for position in which i am working & on the basis of it i was issued a work permit about one month ago. I just wanted to know if i am allowed to apply for PR under PNP category for the same position. My employer is willing to apply for pre screen application form for that position. I have also heard that PNP category is subjected to annual cap of 500 applications per year & mechanical design engineer (NOC:2132) are not eligible to apply under PNP category in ontario. Could you please let me know if those constraints applies to me? Thanks very much in anticipation of your reply.
