    Well I had applied from ainp when I was H1b in US way back in 2009 .. my file was closed and finally after getting file reopened I got my nomination in Nov 2011 while in my home country india and completed the CIO part in 6 months from there ..recieved the passport with immigration visas today...

    Finally the passports are at home ..haven't seen them since I am traveling domestic on office work..hope will be able to see them in 2 weeks time once I get home ... thanks to all ... I was able to complete the CIO part in less than 6 months even though had travel for more than 7 years in...

    @manu .. really dificult to decipher where you are stuck from their mail... usually from other forums I see they mention BC checks as delay reason ... in your case I feel its waiting for someone's inputs ???? not sure though ... anyway hope you get through soon .. I too have some very good...
