Hey everyone.. I'll probably be sending my application out this weekend! If not, shortly thereafter! I've spent months putting this together so it'll actually be a relief to just get the stuff to Mississauga. I'm a US citizen applying outland, but I plan on joining my husband in June as a visitor after my job is over (I'm a teacher). I married my hubby last month, but we've been together since 2003. No prior marriages or children, so hoping for a good and FAST outcome Good luck to us all!

We are finalizing on our package too and will probably send it out in two weeks! We are deciding if we should send it out without the FBI cert or should we wait for the FBI cert. :-\ Hopefully it will come in two weeks since they have already charged our credit card and we don't think we could wait anymore. We are also applying outland through buffalo.

Hi fanatic! After they charged my card it took about a week to come in the mail.. but I live really close to the FBI center so it may take longer if you aren't 40 minutes down the road I think that a lot of people send their clearance later, but hopefully you will get it soon!

Well now that they take our $$...all we could do is to pray that they will be able to read the prints and not sending us some letter saying that our prints are "low-quality" and we have to resend it again. ???

Yay Heather and Sharmilas I hope everything comes together this weekend when I'm in Toronto.. but hubby may need to send it on sometime next week if we don't get his expected tax document.. but it should be in in be Friday, hopefully!!

Thanks, when we finally got close it just became a matter of pushing to get it finished. The hardest part was remembering details from when we first met and got married 13 years ago!

Whereabouts are you in the US? Are you going to wait out the process in Canada? I'll be joining my guy in June when my job is over!

We are in Grand Rapids Michigan and plan to head to Edmonton early to mid August so that our daughter can start school off there. If we are lucky the whole process will be mostly done or even (knock on wood) finished.

Where are you and where will you be going? How long have you been together?

I'm in WV and he's in Toronto.. we've been dating since 2003 but got married last month! It'll be exciting to finally live in the same place I hope there's no problem with my application. It seems pretty straightforward.. no previous marriages or kids or anything, ton of pics and evidence too!

I feel like mine is very straight forward also - married for almost 12, together for over 13, 9 year old child. We have lived together in the States since 1998 and have pictures of our lives together as well as bills, loans, tax returns. 12 years is too long to conceal a fake relationship! LOL. I hope that look at it and just push it on through! It sure would make life easier.
