Yep as yokies said, apply outland and put your home address as your Canadian address. Then, depending on how straight forward it is, it will either go to Sydney, Mississauga or Ottawa and should get it in a few months.

It looks like the forms have changed because previously you would have stated Sydney, Australia, however if you are using the out of canada forms I can see you have to put your citizenship information on the updated version so I think this is what they use to determine the Visa office it will go to. If your case is simple then chances are it will remain in Canada and go to Mississauga like it has for some people otherwise they will just send it to Sydney Australia.

I've just about finished my entire application and am ready to send in the next few days unknowing to these changes - do you think lodging the out of date form will change things much? Or should I be on the safe side and just lodge the up-to-date one.

To be on the safe side you should lodge the up to date forms. The last thing you want is delays in your application because they are requesting for the updated version.

Just got email from Sydney saying they have received passport page scans and appendix b but this was also in there:

"We are unable to finalise your application until we receive confirmation of payment of the Right of Permanent Residence fee to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga."

I paid it 6th of Nov and sent receipt to Mississauga. Must of gotten lost in the mail. stupid Canada post.
I and replied with scan of receipt. Was i supposed to include that with the information sent to Sydney?, i thought not as it asks for the Sponsor to pay for it.

Oh well. More time wasted.

Quick update, they have sent "something" in my express post so i am expecting it to be delivered today

Only thing is I am now in Canada again, so will have to get it forwarded to me here.

Yay!! What date did cic receive your PPR?

I received ppr on 5th Nov but Sydney could not verify my right of pr payment so I had to send them a copy.

Well Australia Post decided to show "Returned To Sender" instead of "Awaiting Collection" on the tracking site after they tried to deliver to my parents house in Australia.
Long story short, my COPR is at my parents house now and will be posted to me in Canada soon.

Omg my xpress post tracker has been activated! My COPR is on it's way to me. I'll prob end up getting it next week though but I am relieved it's in the mail now. Getting closer to landing

I officially landed today via Rainbow bridge.
A little bit of hiccup in the process as I decided to go the route of walking over the bridge... I had no idea where the entrance was to walk over the bridge. The immigration officer was asking if I had returned back from the US which I didn't coz I was lost lol. After that it was smooth sailing going to the US and getting a slip and returning back to Canada. I felt a little intimidated by the visa officer who was landing me as he was asking for so much information which I didn't think was really necessary for landing like asking for joint bank accounts and stuff where I explained to him we don't have joint accounts. Overall I am relieved this journey is over. It has been a stressful 2014 but I can look forward to 2015 as a PR in Canada

Application received 30th October, AOR received 24th December, SA received 29th December with notification that my app is being transferred to Sydney.
So happy to be on the next stage, but hate being at the mercy of the "waiting game"!
Is there somebody adding details to the Sydney spreadsheet?
If so, please add mine.

Hey guys,

I just literally sent my application on Sunday so I am hoping for quick turn around.. my current WHV expires July 26 but will reapply for the 3rd time 12 weeks out!

Question - how do I check processing status? the package has already arrived (xpress post) today so fingers crossed the ball begins rolling..

Thanks everyone for all your correspondence on here - I've been silently participating on this forum and taking notes for months and it's fair to say, I am certain after at least 200 checks, nothing was missed. I was seriously about to go to a lawyer to help, but this site had it all. Thank you thank you thank you.. we are getting married on July 4th (sorry Americans) so it would be a delightful gift to have it by then, but not holding my breath!!

Also where can I find the spreadsheet?

good luck you wont be able to check the status of your application till your get AOR with all the numbers/details to log onto ECAS
