  1. if you have no Canadian Experience or Canadian Education : Don't expect a job in Toronto.
All you can do is to get a factory job where you need to lift 30-50 lb's constantly for 8 hours.
  2. Hi Jaganathan,

Med's Request: Withdrawal Request sent....Was waiting for files to return....instead of returning the files, VO sent the MR !!

This is given in your timeline. Then why the hell did you proceed and submit ur passport and now complaining.

  3. Hey Vidya, honestly speaking, how is the situation, is it really this bad?
I am planning to move Jan'13
    I appreciate ur reply

  4. Is it true for 100% new migrants to canada from other countries for any categories ?
  5. No the situation is not really that bad. You will get a survival job in the beginning from where you should start up slowly and gradually move to your desired field of work. For some they get a job in their field very quickly due to networking and positive spirit.
My advice is to first land here and attend a JSW - JOB search workshop conducted by ACESS EMPLOYMENT . Its govt funded and FREE. It will really help you.
Next Jan is pretty cold here. If your visa is valid till May 13 plan to come around April end as job hunting and moving around is a bit tough in winter months.
Always remember its not been long now and move on with life.

  6. A wonderful message

  7. Dude hmisabpk
indeed a wonderful message....... Can we get diploma/certification in any field through distant learning........ ??? Do they have same recognition as full time study in canada ....??
  8. Hi Jojiao,

It is not true, some of friend on this forum has received job offer even before landing. Some they got job in their field immediately and some had gone through hardship for couple of months.
You need local experience in most profession and licensing if your profession is regulatory profession.

  9. Hi, dubaiite,
