if you have no Canadian Experience or Canadian Education : Don't expect a job in Toronto.
All you can do is to get a factory job where you need to lift 30-50 lb's constantly for 8 hours.

No the situation is not really that bad. You will get a survival job in the beginning from where you should start up slowly and gradually move to your desired field of work. For some they get a job in their field very quickly due to networking and positive spirit.
My advice is to first land here and attend a JSW - JOB search workshop conducted by ACESS EMPLOYMENT . Its govt funded and FREE. It will really help you.
Next Jan is pretty cold here. If your visa is valid till May 13 plan to come around April end as job hunting and moving around is a bit tough in winter months.
Always remember its not been long now and move on with life.

Hi Jojiao,

It is not true, some of friend on this forum has received job offer even before landing. Some they got job in their field immediately and some had gone through hardship for couple of months.
You need local experience in most profession and licensing if your profession is regulatory profession.
