Same situation here My e-cas changed to DM directly from RBVO on 27.04.2012. The narration was same as yours and as per e-cas they sent me the letter on 20th April 2012 but still no letter received from them. Dont know waht happen. Lets pray to God.

Pls put up ur timelines .. Is ur VO London..??
As a suggestion some1 shud start a new thread with narration given as file is "pending review" & also showing as DM...!!!
But if they have mentioned that they sent letter to you then u are slightly different from us. for us there is no mention of " sent letter on xx.xx.2012"

Oh God..!!! how cumbersome...!!!

Was May 1,2012 a working day in CHC London?

May 1 is a working Day in Canada and thee High commissions works as per that. Sept 5 marks the labour day in Canada

IS IT SAFE TO ASSUME THAT ANY VERIFICATION CALL DONE BY VISA OFFICE IS DONE WITHIN A FEW DAYS OR A COUPLE OF WEEKS OF INPROCESS DATE

OR

HAS THERE BEEN A CASE WHERE VERIFICATION WAS DONE AFTER MORE THAN 8 WEEKS OF REVIEW DATE

What does your consultant say about this developments.Did you guys miss any communiique from VO.

If you havent received any Communique from the VO, I suggest its time, for you or to ask your consultant ,to send a CSE to the VO.

@OHMYGOD, Verification call can be done anytime till your passports are stamped with the visa.

I have applied as FSW by my own, without any consultancy. I am waiting for the letter to be arrived may be in day or two i will hear something from CHC, if not then I will go for CSE. So wait your turn will come and my freind please not " Taqdeer se zyada na kisi ko kuch mila hai aur na miley ga". Every thing is in God's hands.

My Ecas status shows the DM from today.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 20, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

I dont know may be it is a glitch....coz the order of the sentences doesnt make any sense..

Any Comments/Suggestions?

Its official now...My application got rejected on the bassis of NOC JD.

But the File number mentioned in the letter is different than the ones in 1st and 2nd AOR.

the enunciation in ur ecas does not seem to be on the set pattern.
More so, since the file number in the letter reportedly recvd by u does not match the ones u were officially communicaed earlier on,the letter may not relate to ur application.Seemingly,it is a case of gross human error.
U should should immediately bring it to the notce of ur visa office by sending email,annexing therewith the copies of the letters suggesting ur actual file number.u should ,simultaneously fax another set of this correspondence to them.
It speaks as to how the CHS with so advance technology works.After all,machines are designed nd operated by human beings nd ,more importantly "to err is human."
tahnx for sharing nd sincerily wish it tunrns out ot be an error nd nothing more than that.

but there is nothing stopping them from calling you as and when they want
