One of my friend recently received his passport request but his passport is expiring in August. Since he is already in Canada should he just go ahead and send his passport?

Usually the visa will not be stamped on a Passport which has less than 6 months validity. Your friend should send an email to the email id he has in the PPR, and ask them, or else request for an extension to get the PP renewed.

I have a quick question. My husband is a seasonal worker in Canada. When I was filling out my EE profile I had mentioned that as his work experience but didn't get any points for it. Can I remove it and leave his work experience blank and just mention it in personal history? N.B. I haven't received ITA as yet.

If you are not getting any points for it, you can remove it and just have it in the person history.

I enquired about your case, and they have sent out an email to find the status of your notes. As soon as they hear back they will promptly let you know. You are at liberty to send en email, but it will merely create duplicity. I would advise you to at least wait until 45 days are over.

In SNIP Process we are not calming points, but in EE FSW we are calming points for my employment as i am PA in EE FSW Stream.

You have very different information on both the applications. On SNIP you claim that you were unemployed, and for EE you claim that you were working. Although, IRCC and SNIP immigration usually do not compare applications, but having completely different statements may land you in trouble. You should rectify the situation with SNIP.

Hi Legalfalcon i just noticed there is a placeholder in my submitted documents for PR,that placeholder is for letter of Employment ,but that one i had already uploaded when i had submitted my eAPR. And on the right side of the documents where i had uploaded all the documents has question mark for all the documents which i had uploaded but in that placeholder is nothing.so is that mean i need to upload there or not?

Did you not upload this document earlier. If you have, there is no need to upload it again. Instead send a CSE and inquire why you have the placeholder asking you to upload the document and ask IRCC to confirm that they have your employment letter.

Just wait for a few days. No need to raise CSE, if your application has been approved. Just have faith and you will have PPR in no time.

Thanks a lot indeed LegalFalcon... As per your advise i will send a email to SNIP and NDVO(As my file is in that office now) with updated documents and LOE. hope this will fix my problem.

For change of name of my spouse post marriage, I had attached the marriage registration certificate and copy of old and new passport. Would this be sufficient or should I submit a copy of the affidavit now (as I am anyways raising a CSE for some other thing).

For change of name after marriage, there is no need for an affidavit. The copies of marriage certificate, and the passport are sufficient. Though, you should mention it in the LoE, just to make sure.
